OUR SERVICES
Many people like you have found a church home here. It is our goal to provide an environment where you can grow and develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Our worship services provide opportunities for people to gather to worship God as He comes to us in His Word and Sacraments and we respond in prayer and praise. You will hear what Jesus has done and continues to do for us. Check our Events Calendar for services times.
BIBLE STUDY
We are confident in God's promise that studying His Word in Bible Study will strengthen individuals and families in their connection to Christ and in their ongoing walk of faith. "Faith comes from hearing the message and the message is heard through the Word of Christ." (Romans 10:17)
You are invited to join us at Bible Study Wednesday Evenings at Courtland Lutheran Church (excluding during Lent and Advent.) You will enjoy friendly interaction and lively discussions on a range of Biblical topics. If you want to grow spiritually, you will find a warm welcome here.
Sunday school
Children are dearly loved by their Savior, Jesus Christ. He said in Matthew 19:14, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Children are precious to God and are capable of learning that they have been saved through faith in Jesus Christ. 2 Timothy 3:15 says, "From a little child you have known the Holy Scriptures which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus."
In Sunday School, children will also be taught that they were born sinful and continue to sin. They need their Savior to take away their sins. By sending His Son, Jesus, into the world to save us, the children will see that God loves them more than they can imagine and that He will be with them always. Sunday School also helps form a habit of Bible study, which will hopefully continue throughout their lives of Christian discipleship. Sunday School times depend on location, check our Events Calendar for class times. All our teachers are experienced and have tremendous love for their Savior and love for the little lambs entrusted to their care.
